Police warn bikies: Not in Manly - Crime - News - The Manly Daily: "MANLY police are vowing to keep criminal groups and outlaw bikies out of Manly in the wake of the invasion of the Shore Club on Sunday night by a group of up to 20 men.
Manly local area commander Supt Dave Darcy said the invasion of the Shore Club was an act of “organised intimidation”, which resulted in club owner Alex Said being headbutted.
Police believe it may have been part of an attempt to take control of the Shore Club by controlling security, opening the way to the possible supply of drugs within the club.
Manly crime manager Insp Luke Arthurs said detectives were already pursuing a number of lines of inquiry, including organised crime and outlaw motorcycle gangs, and that further arrests and charges were expected."
